제목 The reaction and stabilizing mechanism of the cross-type macromonomers in the dispersion polymerization of styrene
초록 The different structure macromonomers have been synthesized to study effect of the macromonomer as stabilizer in dispersion polymerization of the PS microspheres via ethanol medium. Bifunctional cross-type vinyl urethane macromonomers (C-VUM) and linear-type vinyl urethane macromonomers (L-VUM) constitute polyethylene glycol (PEG) having various molecular weights. The average size of the grafted PS microspheres decreased with macromonomer molecular weight and concentration, but the PS molecular weight was adverse appearance. The XPS result shows that the the stabilization ability of C-VUM were higher than L-VUM.
