제목 Highly Stable Ion Gel-based Electrochromic Devices: Effects of Molecular Structure and Concentration of Electrochromic Chromophores
초록 Electrochromic (EC) materials change their optical characteristics such as transmittance or absorbance via reversible redox reactions induced by applied voltages. For practical applications of EC devices (ECDs), high operating stability is one of the most important factors. In this study, we compared characteristics of ion gel-based ECDs with EC chromophores having slightly different molecular structures (symmetric di-heptyl viologen vs asymmetric mono-heptyl viologen). Also, effects of concentration of EC materials were systematically examined. Based on the results, we optimized magenta colored-ECDs exhibiting good long-term coloration/bleaching cyclic stability.
