제목 | Effects of cross-linking agents on preparation of phytoncide microcapsules |
초록 | Phytoncides are antimicrobial allelochemic volatile organic compounds derived from plants, which have anti-bacterial and deodorizing effects. However, they are very volatile and desired to be used in microcapsules. Also, chitosan, which is wall material, suppress growth of germs and mold, hence they have good effects like phytoncide. But its nonspecific agglutination degrades properties of microcapsules. Therefore, this experiment is for preparation of microcapsules depending on types of cross-linking agents, in order to which agent is most suitable at encapsulation process. Using bridging reaction by coacervation-phase separation, chitosan microcapsules containing phytoncide were prepared and properties of microcapsules depending on cross-linking agents were examined. The form and size of microcapsules are examined through SEM. The existence of phytoncide in microcapsules are verified by certain peaks using FT-IR. |
