We have synthesized uncommon form of nano-material which is ring shape by electrospinning technique. To our knowledge, there were no reports about the preparation and investigation of alumina submicro-rings (SMRs) electrospinning technique. SMRs have been widely applied in electronics, photonics and other uses. In this study, we made polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) and aluminum solutions by using PVP and aluminum acetate, respectively. The synthesized aluminum oxide SMRs were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) for investigation of physical morphology, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) for studying chemical nature of the SMRs. The crystalline phase of the SMRs was determined by X-ray diffraction (XRD). X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) was performed for investigation of the elemental composition of SMRs and detailed oxidation states of aluminum and oxygen. |
