Growth and electrical properties of LaVO3/(La1-xSrx)VO3 superlattices |

LaVO3/(La1-xSrx)VO3 (LVO/LSVO) superlattices were grown on stepped-LaAlO3 substrate with a various stacking periods by laser molecular beam epitaxy (Laser-MBE). (x= 0.25) The stacking period was varied from 2 unit cells to 10unit cells (LVO2/LSVO2~LVO10/LSVO2). The growth mode was investigated by in-situ reflection high energy electron diffraction (RHEED) and atomic force microscopy(AFM). The electrical properties were investigated by 4-points probe method in the temperature range of 80K ~ 400K. The RHEED oscillation and AFM image show that the superlattices have been grown in the two dimensional layer-by-layer growth. We discuss the growth and electrical properties with various stacking periods. |
