제목 Heavy Metal Ion Removal on Polypyrrole-Functionalized Mesostructured Carbon Materials
초록 The functionalization of polypyrrole was readily achieved via vapor infiltration of pyrrole monomer and subsequent polymerization. This introduced polypyrrole layer provided the amine functional group resulting the enhanced complexation with heavy metal ions. Especially, the correlation between metal uptake and the degree of functionalization was investigated to study the effect of functionalized layer on the remediation of heavy metal ion. In addition, the metal uptake considering the surface area of functionalized materials demonstrated that the adsorption of metal ions had a function of functionality and surface area. Also, the experiment for filter of heavy metal ion was conducted to check the application for practical water purification.
