Dye sensitized solar cells based on liquid electrolyte have achieved high enough conversion efficiency but had decisive problems like the leakage and evaporation electrolytes, and difficulty of sealing. To cover these problems, we used electro-spinning machine and Poly(vinylidenefluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene)(PVdF-HFP) membrane. Solid-state electrolytes also have a problem that they show a lower conversion efficiency because of their poor electron injection efficiency. So we introduced a liquid crystal E7. We prepare an electrospun membrane from a 15 wt % solution of PVdF-HFP in a mixture acetone/N,N-dimethylacetamide(7:3 wt %) at an electrospun voltage of 15kV. And we input each 1, 5, 10 wt % E7 to PVdF-HFP solution. Efficiency of the electrospun PVdF-HFP that has a liquid crystal with it was about 0.5-0.7 % higher than the one that didn’t have a liquid crystal. The value of current density (Jsc) also increased. |
