In this study, W/O type emulsions were prepared by varying outer-phase thickening agent and the amount of emulsifier in order to control emulsion size and enhance thixotropic effect of W/O emusions. We observed that the controling emulsion size and enhance thixotropic effect was enhanced by inner-phase thickening. And inner-phase thickening were influenced by salt, the amount of thickener, the kind of polyol, putting procedure. Based on the result, the optimized formulation was established. This study is expected to be contributed to control emulsion size and enhance thixotropic effect of W/O make-up cosmetics. |
