제목 Preparation and characterization of alginate/graphite/graphite oxide composite beads for Cu(Ⅱ) removal
초록 The alginate composite beads containing graphite and graphite oxide were prepared by w/o emulsion method in order to improve the Cu(II) ions removal from wastewater. Their structure and morphology were investigated by both SEM and TEM. The crystalline structures of graphite and graphite oxide were examined using X-ray diffraction. Cu(II) adsorption capability was measured by the inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer. Cu(II) ions were successfully removed by alginate/graphite and alginate/graphite oxide composite beads. Alginate/graphite oxide composite beads showed higher capacity for Cu(II) adsorption than alginate/graphite composite did.
