In the present study, we proposed a new method to increase stability and PCE by mediating the different amounts of formamidinium chloride (FACl) additive into the CsPbI2Br perovskite precursor solution. The FACl additives show a significant role in the CsPbI2Br perovskite to modify the surface morphology and particular crystal growth to make high quality perovskite thin films. Also, FACl additive retards crystallization kinetics to produce a highly crystalline γ-CsPbI2Br perovskite, which comprise of high grain size with reduced charge recombination. The optimum amount of FACl (3 mg ml-1) additive mediated CsPbI2Br-based device exhibited the PCE of 15.03 %, which is the highest PCE than the CsPbI2Br-based (12.97 %) device. |
