제목 | An investigation through the sensitivity of economic parameters in a combined steam power plant and refrigeration chiller using response surface modeling |
초록 | The sensitivity of a novel steam power plant combined with an absorption chiller and a wet cooling tower as the cold utility is investigated through response surface modeling (RSM) . The economic model of the system is developed based on thermodynamic equations. The responses of total annual cost, annual operating and capital costs to with respect to various conditions of the chiller subsystem low pressure limit. Polynomial regression is used to model the relationship between each response and parameter and the goodness of fitting is checked using the multiple correlation coefficient (R2). The high values of R2 showed that the models can be applied to obtain the sensitivity of the system economic parameters using RSM-based sensitivity analysis.
