제목 Synthesis and characterization of maleimide functionalized graphene oxide for self-healing system based on thermal reversible Diels-Alder reaction
초록 Nowadays, various self-healing systems based on reversible reaction are coming up. And most of these researches are introducing new polymers which has healing property. But these self-healing materials have a weak point that mechanical strength is low. So, in this study, we prepared material having both ability of healing and enhancing mechanical strength and that material is maleimide functionalized graphene oxide. Graphene oxide (GO) was prepared through modified Hummer’s method and maleimide functionalities were introduced to GO by urethane reaction. And we confirmed Diels-Alder reaction and retro Diels-Alder reaction between prepared maleimide functionalized GO and furan functionalized polymer. For characterization, fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) were mainly used in preparing process, and additional analysis will be performed after conference.
