Chemical Synthesis and Electrochromic Properties of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-ITO Nanocomposite |

Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT)-Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) nanocomposites were synthesized via a solution route. The electrical conductivities of PEDOT-ITO thin films are in the range of 0.5~10 S/㎝ with transparency change from 25 %to 85 % . The electrochromic properties of the nanocomposite as an active material for ECD are discussed in terms of conductivity and transparency. The switching speeds of the electrochromic devices (ECD) are closely correlated with the changes in the conductivities of the nanocomposite materials. |
