제목 | The effects of vanadium and sulfuric acid concentration on electrolyte stability of VRFB at high temperature |
초록 | With renewable energy sources have been developed, the energy storage system (ESS) are attracting much attention to solve the fluctuating and intermittent nature of renewable energy resources. Among various ESS, the vanadium redox flow battery (VRFB) is considered as a promising candidate due to its many advantages such as long cycle life, low environmental problem, and flexible operation. The energy density of VRFB is related with vanadium concentration. However, the increase in vanadium concentration is limited due to its solubility and stability. Especially, the electrolyte has poor stability at high temperature. In this study, we investigated the correlation between the static stability of vanadium electrolyte with four oxidation states and different concentration of vanadium and sulfuric acid at high temperature. |
