제목 Insulin-immobilized HA/PLGA hybrid nanofiber scaffolds for bone tissue regeneration
초록 The development of tissue engineering in the field of orthropaedic surgery is booming. In the present study we have chemically immobilized insulin onto HA nanorods surface. The insulin-immobilized (HA-I) were dispersed into PLGA/THF:DMF solution. The solution was electrospun to prepare the composite nanofibrous scaffolds of PLGA,PLGA/HA and PLGA/HA-I for bone tissue regeneration. After extensive characterization of the composite nanofiber scaffolds by various spectroscopic techniques, PLGA/HA-I and PLGA/HA composite nanofiber scaffolds were subjected to cell studies. The results obtained suggested that the PLGA/HA-I composite nanofiber scaffolds enhanced the proliferation and differentiation of osteoblastic cells. Enhanced osteoblastic cell proliferation by insulin immobilization will open new possibilities for the development of artificial scaffolds for bone tissue regeneration.
