제목 Enhancement in efficiency of blue organic light-emitting diode by incorporating metal nanoparticles based on localized surface plasmon
초록   Enhanced electroluminescence in blue organic light-emitting diodes is obtained by incorporating silver nanoparticles into the hole injection layer, poly(3,4-ethylene dioxythiophene):polystyrene sulfonic acid (PEDOT:PSS). The wavelength peak of the localized surface plasmons (LSPs) initialized from silver nanoparticles matched with the emission peak of blue organic light-emitting diode results in the resonance effect and enhanced the efficiency of diodes. UV-visible absorption spectra, steady state and time-resolved photoluminescence spectra was studied in order to prove that the improvement of luminescence comes from the plasmonic near-field interaction between localized surface plasmons and the excited excitons from the emission layer.
