제목 Study for impact modification of PolyPhenylene-Sulfide (PPS) reinfored by glass fiber for thermostat housing
초록 Study for impact modification of PPS composite reinforced by glass fiber for thermostat housing. To improve the toughness of PPS reinforced by glass fiber reinforced in engineering resin application, it needs dimensional stability, stiffness, strength and impact resistance. In this study, impact modified PPS blends were prepared by compounding PPS with Ethylene copolymer/N-butyl acrylate/glycidyl methacrylate copolymer. From the results of mechanical and physical properties of the blends. Etylene/N-butyl acrylate/glycidyl methacrylate copolymer acted as an impact modifier to increase the impact strength of the PPS reinforced by glass fiber. It seems to be one of the case that this conditions caused the enhancement of mechanical properties of PPS.
