In this study, It was prepared that adsorption and desorption is possible composite membrane in order to recover the lithium ion for applied CDI module. Composition membrane was prepared by coating bipolar membrane with PVDF. Coating process was by using phase inversion. After PVDF was dissolved in DMF, slurry was made with LMO. And then, In order to complement conductivity of PVDF ion exchange resin or charcoal was tested for comparison. Prepared composite membrane surface was analyzed via scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Adsorption and desorption performance according to the ratio of the LMO with ion exchange resins or LMO with charcoal was tested by comparing the CDI module. CDI test of adsorption and desorption rate was that LMO : ion exchange resin ratio 65:35 wt% showed a maximum value. Also, LMO : Charcoal ratio 65:35 wt% showed a maximum value. Especially, LMO-IER was observed better adsorption and desorption rate than the LMO-Charcoal. |
