A Series of Dual Functioned Carbazole or Triaryl Amine-based Coadsorbents as an Alternative to Deoxycholic Acid for Highly Efficient Dye-sensitized Solar Cells |
초록 |
A series of dual functioned carbazole or triaryl amine-based coadsorbent molecules have successfully been designed and developed to use as an alternative to deoxycholic acid in NKX2677 organic dye based dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). By coadsorption of these coadsorbent molecules with NKX2677 organic dye in DSSCs system, we demonstrated that both Jsc and Voc could be significantly increased. The photovoltaic performance of the NKX2677/HC-A3 sensitized device exhibited remarkably high, Jsc of 15.84 mA/cm2, Voc of 719 mV, FF of 74.79%, and a conversion efficiency of 8.53% at 100 mW cm-2, which is the best result ever reported for DSSC employing an organic dye NKX2677. Compared with NKX2677 sensitized device, the conversion efficiency of NKX2677/HC-A3 sensitized device was increased by 35% due to co-sensitization and prevention of charge recombination. |
