제목 Novel Fabrication of Polypyrrole Nanotubes by Reverse Cylindrical Micelle Templating
초록 Polypyrrole (PPy) nanotubes were fabricated by sodium bis(2-ethylhexyl)sulfosuccinate (AOT) reverse cylindrical micelle templating. AOT reverse cylindrical micelles were prepared via a cooperative interaction between aqueous FeCl3 solution and AOT in an apolar solvent. Aqueous FeCl3 solution is pivotal in the formation of the reverse cylindrical micellar phase because it increases the ionic strength in solvent and decreases the second critical micelle concentration (CMC II) of AOT. In addition, iron cations are adsorbed to the head-groups of AOT that are capable of extracting iron cations from the aqueous core to the reverse micellar phase. Under these conditions, the addition of pyrrole monomer resulted in the formation of PPy nanotubes on the exterior of the reverse cylindrical micelles by chemical oxidation polymerization.
