In this study, we successfully fabricated the layer-by-layer structured SWCNT/PEDOT:PSS nanocomposite films with a high thermoelectric performance. The SSWCNT/PEDOT:PSS composites were simply prepared in the form of viscous paste by micronizing mill process which could induce the improvement of π-π interaction between the surface of SSWCNT and PEDOT:PSS, resulting in the considerable enhancement of electrical conductivity. Especially, the SSWCNT/PEDOT:PSS nanocomposite film with 60wt% SSWCNT exhibited an enhanced electrical conductivity, Seebeck coefficient, and power factor of 2996 S cm-1, 40 μV K-1, and 471 μW m-1 K-2, respectively. Moreover, the thermoelectric generator consisting of 10 legs generated a thermoelectric power of 578 nW at a small temperature difference of 10 °C. We suggest that the facile preparation of SSWCNT/PEDOT:PSS nanocomposite film demonstrates the potential for application in the high power flexible thermoelectric generators. |
