In this study, we make mesoporous capsules by using mesoporous zeolite as a template. Then using this as a support, the chiral catalyst was supported in there, and to synthesize the recoverable catalyst. Using a mesoporous zeolite, for example NaA or NaY, as a template, it is coated with TEOS/C18, and then the internal zeolite is removed through acid treatment. Then mesoporous capsule can be obtained. Using this as a support, the chiral catalyst is supported and then coated with a silica layer, then it is possible to obtain a recoverable chiral catalyst in which the internal catalyst is not lost. The catalytic activity and enatioselectivity of the catalyst immobilized on mesoporous capsule were examined for the hydrolysis of epoxide. According to the results, this catalyst exhibited a very high activity when applied to the asymmetric hydrolysis reaction. And the capsules synthesized with zeolite were easily recovered and reused several times, and no leakage occurred during reaction. |
