In this study, we fabricated a highly transparent and conductive electrode using silver networks embedded in flexible substrates. We first carried out UV/ozone treatment to generate a brittle silica layer on an elastic substrate. Then to produce well-controlled networks of cracks on the elastic substrates, they were bent on cylindrical supporters with various dimensions. Silver (Ag) ink was filled into the cracks and sintered to form conducting networks embedded into an elastic substrate. Moreover, we produced an electrochemical luminescence (ECL) device by using the Ag networks as an electrode. |
