Transparent, flexible, shape-memorable, and self-healable polymer |
초록 |
Self-healing polymer is the material that healed without external stimulation when a defect occurs in the material. The self-healing polymer has been applied in various fields such as coating, film, construction materials, and electronic devices. One of the main mechanisms in self-healing polymers is using reversible chemistry such as quadruple hydrogen bonding, Diels-Alder reactions, disulfide bonding, and ionic interactions. Here, we report that polymers containing zwitter ions for reversible interactions shows transparent, flexible, shape-memorable, and self-healable properties. These properties were evaluated by making the synthesized self-healing polymer into a film. Especially, the self-healing ability was quantized by comparing tensile strength and strain of films before and after healing via thermal treatment using universal test machine (UTM). |
