제목 A self-assembled micellar immune inducer for cancer therapy with cationic amphiphilic polymers
초록 Today scientists are finding that cancer immunotherapy has a great possibility as a treatment for cancer; it increases innate immune system followed by having immune agents notice and eliminate cancer cells. Nevertheless, the cancer immunotherapy is limited to applicate for clinical use, similar to many other therapeutic proteins due to their low selectivity.
Herein, we developed a self-assembled micellar immune inducer (SMI) for cancer therapy consists of cationic polymer which was conjugated with anionic polysaccharides that target cancer cell. The SMI was complexed via electrostatic interaction with anionic polysaccharide to remove toxicity of cationic polymer in normal tissues and give them selectivity for cancer.
To summarize that, the SMI was accumulated into cancer site, then exhibited anti-cancer effects through cationic charge-induced cellular membrane damage. Newly fabricated SMI can be profitable platform of cancer therapy and be also utilized for anti-cancer drug delivery.
