제목 Phosphate recovery using mesoporous gamma alumina prepared form waste can
초록 The effective adsorbent has been required to remove phosphate ion at low concentration for the prevention of eutrophication in lakes. The gamma alumina (γ-Al2O3) is commercially used as adsorbent due to high surface area, excellent thermal stability, and high mechanical resistance. In this study, the mesoporous gamma alumina (MAA) was synthesized to effectively phosphate removing materials in wastewater by a low temperature hydrothermal procedure from aluminum waste can. The effects of electrolyte concentrations on the pore size and surface area were investigated during the gel precipitation process. Also, the phosphate adsorption characteristics onto the prepared MAAs were rigorously investigated, including the evaluation of the adsorption isotherms and kinetics of phosphate and effects of pH and anions.
