Development of continuous harvest system of marine alga for the biodiesel production using pulse electrolysis of polarity exchange |
초록 |
For the efficient and economical production of microalgal biodiesel, we investigated a continuous electrochemical harvest by use of pulse waveform of polarity exchange (PE). Its performance was analyzed and optimized in terms of recovery efficiency, electricity consumption and residual Al concentration via response surface methodology (RSM). Under optimized conditions, less electricity was required and less Al was remained after continuous harvesting and there was no decrease in recovery efficiency compared to the continuous harvesting by conventional DC. There were no differences in the microalgal oil composition before and after electrolytic harvesting. Lastly, there was no retardation of growth in recycled medium relative to that in fresh medium. |
