제목 Synthesis and Characterization of Low Band Gap Small Molecules based on Fluorine Substituted Benzothiadiazole for Photovoltaic Application
초록 We successfully designed D-π-A-π-D three small molecules, BTTP, BTTP-F, and BTTP-FF were synthesized and characterized in which benzothiadiazole as a electron acceptor (A), triphenylamine as a electron donor (D) and thiophene as a linker (π) between electron donor and electron acceptor. Fluorine was substituted in benzothiadiazole core to major the effect of photovoltaic properties. To understand the effect of fluorine substituted benzothiadiazole, we were fabricated the photovoltaic cell (PVCs) with inverted device structure ITO/ZnO/active layer/MoO3/Ag. In active layer, BTTP; BTTP-F; BTTP-FF used as electron donor and PC61BM also PC71BM used as electron acceptor and compared to get the highest power conversion efficiency (PCE). These three small molecules also showed low band gap which were beneficial for improvement of the open circuit voltage (Voc). In this research, the synthesis, optical, electrochemical properties, and their application of solar cells have been investigated.
