In this work pyrrole is oxidizing in to polypyrrole by silver nitrate as oxidizing agent in the presence of graphene oxide and illustrated in Figure 1. The resulted graphene oxide-polypyrrole-Ag (GO-PPy-Ag) ternary nanocomposite structure was analyzed by Fourier Transform-Infrared Spectroscopy, Thermal Gravimetric Analysis, Scanning Electron Microscope and Transmission Electron Microscope. From the FE-SEM analysis, indicates the formation of highly exfoliated graphene nanosheets. From TEM analysis PPy-Ag nanocomposite uniformely coated on the grapehe nanosheets. XRD analysis confirms the formation of GO-PPy-Ag ternary nanocomposite. The electrochemical capacitive behavior of the GO-PPy-Ag ternary nanocomposite was analyzed by cyclic voltammetry and galvanostatic charge-discharge. |
