제목 Redox-responsive alginate/cystamine microsphere
초록 Alginate (Alg) could be crosslinked by cystamine (Cyst) due to electrostatic interaction between carboxylic group of Alg and amine group in Cyst. The complexation between Alg and Cyst in Alg/Cyst solution was observed by dynamic light scattering equipment with different dithiothreitol (DTT) concentration. Alg/cyst microspheres were prepared by emulsification method. Alg, Cyst, and blue-dextran were dissolved in water with different molar ratio of carboxylic group to amine group. The mixture was put into mineral oil containing span 80 under sttiring. After sonication, calcium chloride solution in isopropanol was added to emulsion. The W/O emulsion was observed through optical. Oil phase was washed out by cyclohexane, getting the blue-colored Alg/Cyst microspheres. The shape and swelling ratio of microspheres were observed. Release of blue-dextran from Alg/Cyst microspheres was investigated in different concentration of DTT, resulted in promoted release at high DTT concentration.
