Lead trihalide perovskites materials have currently attracted more intensive research interest for a broad range of applications, such as LEDs, solar cells, lasers, and visible-light communications, due to their outstanding electrical and optical properties. Among inorganic lead trihalide perovskites CsPbX3 QDs, where X=Cl-,Br-,I-,CsPbI3 QDs usually show the most breathtaking PL-QY (≥90%) in the primary observations directly after synthesis, but, also show the lowest optical stability, thereby hampering their commercialization. In fact, it takes only a few days to have totally zero-emission when they are left in air at room temperature due to the chemical degradation. The reasons for this degradation are usually oxygen and humidity contained in air, but, in particular, additional factors could potentially be involved, such as thermal decomposition, light exposure, and phase transition. we will discuss some results which is dealing with improving stability of lead trihalide perovskites |
