Indium-tin-oxide (ITO) is a most widely used material as transparent conductive electrode (TCE) in organic electronics. However, the conductivity of ITO is 2-orders of lower than metal, it causes a drastic efficiency decrease with cell area increasing. And a brittleness of ITO is a bottleneck for flexible electronics. To solve these problems, many researches are carried out. But the trade-off between flexibility and performance of TCE is still remained. We introduce a new TCE which is poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) as conductive polymer electrode on flexible substrate with flattened Ag line printed substrate. It showed the similar level of TCE performance of ITO with high flexibility. In addition, all processes for fabricating TCE are performed by a simple printing process, it opens up the possibility that all printing organic devices without vacuum process is available. |
