제목 Studyof Hydroxyalkyl Oligothiophene on the Growth of the Uniform Charge Transport Layer for Organic Thin Film Transistors
초록 It is well known that the first two molecular layers next to the dielectric interface contribute to the charge transport in organic thin film transistors (OTFTs). For uniform and ultrathin charge transport layer, we synthesized Bis(hydroxypropyl)-sexithiophene (bHP6T) containing hydroxyalkyl groups. During film deposition, intermolecular interactions such as hydrogen bonding and π-π interactions between bHP6T molecules induced uniform layer-by-layer growth at the interface. The electrical properties of OTFT using bHP6T as a active material show high mobility (over 10-2 cm2/Vs) and on/off ratio(about 104). The morphology of the semiconducting layer of the bHP6T was investigated using atomic force microscopy (AFM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) method.
