제목 Simulation study on Amine absorption process and comparison of heat duty requirements in case studies
초록 As carbon dioxide is the major constituent of greenhouse gases and its exhaust to the atmosphere is causing threat to the environment, several methods have been discussed in previous literature to capture carbon dioxide from the industrial processes to save the environment. Absorption is considered to be the effective process for this purpose and it has gained enough attention in recent past. In this work, chemical absorption process is studied and analyzed to capture acid gas. The process has been simulated rigorously and different case studies are proposed. A comprehensive comparison is also made to compare the heat duty requirements in case studies.
