제목 Preparation of Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles Stabilized by Poly(ethylene oxide)-folate Conjugate
초록 Nanomaterials, such as quantum dots, nanorods, nanotubes, simple nanostructure, and nano composite materials with multiple functions, have received a great attention in the academic and the industrial application fields. Especially, zinc oxide nanoparticles have been well known as the imaging agent for cell detection. Poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) is water-soluble and biocompatible polymer for many application fields such as biomedical field. In this respect, ω- anhydride-terminated PEO was first synthesized. PEO-conjugated folate was synthesized by the reaction of ω-anhydride PEO with folic acid and the resulting product was used as a stabilizing agent for zinc oxide nanoparticles. In this presentation, we report the results for preparation of water-soluble zinc oxide nanoparticles using ω-functionalized poly(ethylene oxide)(PEO) as a polymeric surfactant.
