제목 Preparation and characterization of nanocrystalline porous SiC nano fiber from PAN and silica by electrospinning and carbothermal reduction
초록 The nanocrystalline porous silicon carbide was prepared from various ratios with SiO2 and polyacrylonitrile by electrospinning and heat treatment. The electrospun fibers were converted to nanocrystalline porous silicon carbide by carbothermal reduction. Si elements in SiO2 and C elements in electrospun fibers were sintered to SiC fibers with escape of other elements like O, N, and H during carbothermal reduction. The escape of oxygen onto electrospun fiber led porous SiC fiber. The samples were characterized by XRD, SEM, BET, and TGA. The samples showed high SiC crystallite, high specific surface area, porosity and good oxygen resistance as a whole.
