In order to make up for weak points in the chemical precipitation, addition of coagulant is proposed. In this study, two continuous processes using coagulation by ferric chloride (FeCl3) and limestone were developed for removal of copper in the wastewater on the basis of results from jar test experiments. One is the process using coagulation and filtration and the other is the process using coagulation, flocculation and settling. Continuous removal of copper was carried out under various conditions by the processes. |
