제목 | 기체분리막과 PSA의 결합공정을 이용한 수소정제에 관한 연구 |
초록 | The hybrid system combining membrane permeation and PSA processes is attempted to improve separation capacity and reduce a scale in recent years. Its generalconfiguration consists of main PSA part and complemental membrane process. For therigorous analysis, each unit process should be investigated in detail to reveal howeffective the sequence of units and operating conditions are in overall system structure.The accurate prediction and economic evaluation are formidable, and the progress ofcombined processes has been sluggish. This study presents the performance of hybridsystem consisting of membrane and PSA elements. Simplified analytic approach andparticular numerical simulation are employed for the description of performance ofindividual and hybrid systems. Numerical simulation encompasses strict consideration ofpressure drop inside hollow-fiber membranes and mass transfer resistance in adsorbent.The separation efficiency is examined in terms of product purity as well as recovery.As a result, the hybrid system introduced by combining the conventional gas separationprocesses can resolve the problems with the purity of membrane process and therecovery of PSA one. |
