Polyacrylonitrile (PAN) ultrafiltration (UF) membranes were modified by oxyfluorination. Influences of oxyfluorination modifications on membrane characteristics were investigated. The sample of PAN membrane was oxyfluorinated by fluorine, oxygen and argon at room temperature for 10min. The surface morphology of the prepared PAN membrane was examined by SEM, XRD, EDS spectral analysis. Hydrophilicity of PAN membrane surfaces was examined by the contact angle measurements using the water and diiodomethane. In order to investigate the effect of oxyfluorination, it lead to the increasing of membrane surface hydrophilicity. |
