제목 Functionalization of Graphene via Diels-Alder Reaction
초록 Graphene is known to possess excellent properties such as high electron mobility and optical transparency and it has many potential applications such as batteries, supercapacitors, and solar cells. There are many challenges to prepared graphene sheet by using physical, chemical and combined approaches such as the Scotch tape (peel-off) method, epitaxial growth on SiC, chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and exfoliation of graphite oxide. Here, we would like to report functionalization of graphite with maleic anhydride via Diels-Alder reaction condition. As a result, functionalized graphite is expected to be delaminated upon dispersion in polar solvents.
