Radiation-induced crosslinking of PBAT/POSS nanocomposites |

In this study, the crosslinking of biodegradable PBAT/POSS nanocomposites by electron beam irradiation was investigated. PBAT/POSS nanocomposites prepared by solution blending at various compositions were crosslinked by electron beam irradiation and their properties were characterized. As a result, the crosslinking degree of the nanocomposities was dependant on the absorbed dose and the content of the POSS. The crosslinked PBAT/POSS nanocomposites exhibited higher thermal and mechanical properties in comparison to that of the control PBAT. |
