제목 Recognition of Cyanuric Acid Using PDA Vesicles
초록 Among the various intermolecular interactions, the hydrogen bonding bestows the most significant effects such as the strength, directionality, and selectivity which provide it at the center of many research efforts aimed at the design of supramolecular systems for applications to biosensors by mimicking biomolecular systems. The conjugated polyene backbone chain of PDAs can undergo a drastic color transition from the blue (λ=640nm) to the red form (λ=550nm) depending on the character of interacting molecular masses. The 10,12-pentacosadiynoic acid derivative (PCDA-DAT) having a diamintriazine (DAT) ligand was synthesized, and then its vesicles were formed in water and irradiated with 254 nm-UV light. The molecular recognition capability of the resulting PDA vesicles induced by strong H-bonding was investigated using cyanuric acid (CUA) as a binding molecule. The color change clearly appeared after addition of CUA to the PDA vesicle solution.
