제목 Morphology Study on TPEV nano-composite using Organo-Modified MMT as reinforcement
초록 Thermoplastic Elastomer Vulcanizates(TPEV) prepared by dynamic vulcanization proceess, is a material which has the properties of thermosetting rubber (Elasticity) and also of thermoplastics (Processibility). TPEV is cost effective for its good processibility and eco-friendly for its recyclability. TPEV nano-composites can give more advantages such as weight reduction, specific processibility and etc. Weight reduction is a key issue in most industrial applications, especially in automotive industry because of fuel efficiency. Applying TPEV nano composites, the amount of mineral filler as reinforcement can be reduced compared to general TPEV. The mechanical strengths of TPEV nano composites using small amounts of MMT is similar to those of general TPEV using larger amounts of general filler.
