제목 Synthesis and Application of Bi-functional Photosensitizersfor the Dye Sensitized Solar Cell
초록 Dye sensitized solar cells (DSSC) have been investigated extensively since Grtzel and Co-workers reported a highly efficient solar energy-to-electricity conversion efficiency, , of more than 10%, Ruthenium dyes are used in DSSCs containing titania nano crystals, cis-bis(isothiocyanato)-bis(2,2’-bipyridil-4,4’-dicarboxylate) ruthenium(Ⅱ), N3 dye was reported in 1993[1-3]. In this paper, we have developed new organic photosensitizers including bi-functional phenothiazine and carbazole moieties in the chemical structure as shown in Fig. 1. These dyes containing bis-carboxylic acid group could prevent the aggregation between each other more effectively compared with general organic dyes. Thus, the photovoltaic properties of the solar cells containing organic dyes were measured to evaluate the correlation between chromophore and photovoltaic properties by comparison with that of ruthenium dye in same condition
