제목 Determination of the solubility parameter of cetyl trimethylammonium bromide by inverse gas chromatography and molecular dynamics simulation techniques
초록 The solubility parameter has been widely used for various purposes including predicting solubility and/or miscibility of many different chemical species. However, for most of surfactants that have been widely adopted in the fabrication of organic and/or inorganic nanomaterials, there has been little information on such solubility parameters. This study thus tried to determine the solubility parameter, including the Hildebrand solubility parameter and the Hansen solubility parameter, of a representative surfactant, cetyl trimethylammonium bromide (CTAB), using an inverse gas chromatography (IGC) and molecular dynamics (MD) simulation techniques.
