제목 Synthesis and photoalignment of Novel Photopolymers with Structural Isomer
초록 Photoalignment of the nematic liquid crystals by using a poly (vinyl) cinnamate and other flexible photopolymer surfaces such as poly methyl methacrylate and poly siloxane has been studied by many researchers. Upon irradiation cinnamate undergo simultaneously photoinduced isomerization and dimerization as well as ratio of both reactions upon irradiation cinnamate depends on the concentration of the photochromic moiety and effects of polymer matrix density. In particular, photoproduction distribution in photopolymers with cinnamate side chains is well known to depend on the regioisomerism of the chromophores. In this study, we prepared the three kinds of photopolymer with the cinnamoyl photosensitive group and investigated the effect of photosensitive group with different chemical position due to chemical structure on the LC alignment properties.
