제목 Development of Anti-adhesion using Visible light cured Furfuryl Fish Gelatin derivative
초록 Gelatin is a biodegradable and biocompatible polymer that can be obtained by thermal denaturation or chemical and physical degradation of collagen frequently has been used in food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical. In medical fields, gelatin is used as drug delivery system and an anti-adhesion agent. Anti-adhesion agent is able to prevent adhesion of tissues by physically separating the coated surface of the surgical site by photo-crosslinking. Furfuryl-fish gelatin (F-f.gel) was synthesized by introducing a furan ring to fish gelatin for application as an anti-adhesion agent. Cytotoxicity and cell attachment tests of the F-f.gel derivative were performed on 3T3-L1 fibroblast cell line for biocompatibility. Because it is nontoxic to the cells, we suggest that the furfuryl fish gelatin derivative is a potential anti-adhesive agent in medical fields.
