Preparation of cross-linked cartilage acellular matrix film for anti-adhesion |

In this work, We chose cartilage acellular matrix (called CAM) as a promising anti-adhesive material because CAM effectively inhibits the formation of blood vessels. We made biodegradable poly(caprolactone-r-lactide-r-glycolide) copolymer (called PCLG) cross-linker to control degradation period and mechanical properties. We made cross-linked CAM/PCLG (Cx-CP) film and treated by heating. First, the Cx-CP film revealed we controlled mechanical properties through tensile strength, contact angle, biodegradation. Next, We confirmed that the cells rarely attached to Cx-CP film through fluorescence and SEM image and do not proliferated through MTT assay compared to control group. We confirmed that the higher the cross-linker ratio until 50% of total ratio, the better the anti-adhesion effect through staining analysis. Finally, we confirmed that we developed suitable anti-adhesive film through various in vitro and in vivo experiments. |
