제목 Enhanced electroluminescence and color purity in conjugated polymer with nano-porous morphology
초록 The luminescent properties of fully conjugated polymers are seriously affected by concentration of the conjugated chains, and the degree of polymer chain packing when fabricated in thin film. In this study, we examined the effect of nano-pore morphology in the emitting layer of Poly[2-methoxy-5-(2’-ethylhexyloxy)-1,4-phenylene vinylene] (MEH-PPV), and to hope that it would prevent polymer chain packing so that effectively decrease interchain interaction caused by interchain species and aggregates. The high luminance is obtained at relatively low current density since the annihilation of singlet excitons can be decreased. The red-shifted emission and red shoulder due to the interchain aggregates and excimers are also suppressed due to the nano-porous morphology, so that the color purity of the devices is greatly improved.
