PolyMOFs were emerging class of porous materials combined with metal organic framework (MOF) and polymer. PolyMOFs had high crystallinity, large surface area and enhanced chemical stability due to hydrophobicity of organic chains inside of the pore. Compared to general MOFs, in polyMOFs organic ligands constituting the crystal lattice were connected by space linker. Existence of connected organic chain affect the diffusion characteristics of light hydrocarbons inside of the pore channel, endowing kinetic separation ability to polyMOFs. The effect of organic chains to crystal structure and pore space of polyMOFs were characterized through Powder X-ray Diffraction (PXRD) and 77K nitrogen physisorption. Adsorption characteristics of light hydrocarbons were analyzed through adsorption isotherms and pressure decaying curves. Diffusion selectivity and sorption selectivity of each light hydrocarbons were calculated based on the data. |
